What is the Portland Hope Gala?

The American Cancer Society Portland Hope Gala is a distinguished celebration that will bring together the area's finest sponsors, donors, philanthropists, and community leaders dedicated to the mission of eliminating cancer. The fun-filled evening features a silent auction, cocktails, dinner, inspiring speakers, a live auction of highly sought after gift packages, as well as entertainment. The funds raised at the Portland Hope Gala will benefit cancer research as well as quality of life programs that remove barriers and provide resources and information to those battling cancer. 

What time does the Portland Hope Gala start? 

VIP registration begins at 5pm. VIP guests will have the opportunity for early silent auction viewing and photos, and will then be escorted to the VIP Party. General registration beings at 6 pm. Guests can enjoy a reception and silent auction after registering. The  ballroom will open at 7:45 pm. for dinner, program, live auction and the featured guest performance. The event is scheduled to end at 10:30 pm.

How do I make a donation or purchase an auction item?

Each guest will receive an individualized bidder number for the evening. In addition, we'll send a link to your cell phone which lists the silent auction items available for bidding and will be linked to your bidder number. You will also receive a bid paddle with your bid number to be used for the evening's live auction and mission donation ask to support the Society's research grants, as well as patient and caregiver programs and services. Credit cards will be accepted during registration. Credit cards and checks will be accepted during the evening's check out.
